Summary of Responsibilities:
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
• To consistently provide thoughtful, caring and sincere service
• To lead and assist the Housekeeping Manager in the day-to-day operation of the department to ensure service standards are followed
• To conduct regular inspections of guestrooms
• To train supervisors and fulfill training role in the absence of the trainer
• To handle Guest concerns and react quickly, logging and notifying proper areas to service them
• To follow departmental policies and procedures
• To report necessary maintenance items
• To follow all safety and sanitation policies
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
• Previous leadership experience required
• Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications an asset
• University/College degree in a related discipline an asset
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
• Highly responsible & reliable
• Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team
• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
Physical Aspects of Position:
Physical aspects of the position include but are not limited to the following:
• Frequent standing and walking throughout shift
• Occasional lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs
• Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting
• Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
