About the role
To support Jumeirah Group vision in every hotel action, effectively manage the marketing and communication function within the hotel; To be the brand custodian for Jumeirah Group within the hotel and to create, manage and implement the Marketing Plan with DOSM.
Main Duties
Oversee & take responsibility for the production of all hotel collateral adhering to brand standards set by Jumeirah Group.
Oversee & take the departmental responsibility for the management of both hotel websites, marketing and proprietary web sites, including regular audits of TPI's and partner sites.
Develop a copy library to ensure consistency of message and tone of voice.
To work with the PR agencies both in the UK and at group level to develop and execute a robust PR plan which supports the business needs of driving awareness within the target markets. This will involve agency liaison, media relations, Media entertaining and events, overseeing the compilation of press materials as required, relationship building with key tourism bodies and affiliates, events etc.
To work with HR to develop and manage the internal communications, ensuring that there is a consistent message, tone of voice and adherence to brand standards.
About you
You will need to have at least one year experience of working in a 4 or 5 star property.
Personality is the key to our roles, as is a genuine passion for world class personalised service. Excellent command of the English and Spanish languages is required. We want people who are confident, willing to multi task and undertake duties outside of the normal job description.
