About the Role
This exciting role has arisen in the Sales department of Jumeirah Port Soller and it's main purpose is to maximise revenue development from the Leisure and MICE Market via a structured sales approach. To secure and develop new producing accounts for the Jumeirah Port Soller Hotel & Spa in line with the sales targets.
Main Duties
To effectively manage existing accounts for the hotels. This involves potential needs analysis, determining strategies and revenue targets, relationship building, brick walling activities, monitoring performance and rate negotiation.
To co-ordinate and attend specific industry events and trade shows, representing the hotels and keep a high profile in the marketplace.
To co-ordinate sales blitzes locally to secure business and awareness of the Jumeirah Port Soller Hotel & Spa.
To develop new business wherever possible from all the market segments and sources of business.
To provide feedback and explain variances to the DOS on all sales-related activities, including competitors and recommend what action should be taken to remedy significant variances.
Follow up with clients who have used facilities in the past, including clients who have cancelled, to generate bookings.
About You
In order to be considered for this role, you would need to have at least one year experience working in the sales department in a 4 or 5 star property .
Personality is the key to our roles, as is a genuine passion for world class personalised service. Excellent command of the German, English and Spanish languages is required. We want people who are confident, willing to multi task and undertake duties outside of the normal job description.
