Main Responsibilities:
- This position is responsible for the development of new business within the Transient, Group and Events segments as well as maintenance of existing accounts to ensure maximum delivery.
- Responsible for assigned Leisure & Groups Accounts
- Responsible for all segments of assigned geographical markets
- Good leadership skills to direct, mentor and lead a team to optimise sales across the core markets: GCC, Europe, Russia and CIS
- To arrange and manage familiarisation trips and educational in line with business needs.
- Must build excellent relationships directly or through team management across the diverse spectrum within the leisure division. This will include local and international tour operators, wholesalers, OTA’s, airlines, global ticketing companies, tourist boards/advisory boards and relevant hotel partners.
- Establish Luxury Leisure Sales strategy and ensure hotel's inclusion in major luxury travel networks (Virtuoso, FHR, LHW, etc.)
- Attend internal Meetings and Conference Calls, and Client Appointments and Client Events in the absence primarily of the Director of Sales but also the Director of Sales & Marketing.
- Proactively manages a pre-determined number of key accounts/key prospects and other active accounts to ensure maximum yield in line with budgetary objectives.
- Maintain valid call objectives and relevant action plans for each key account/key prospect and ensure all follow up is executed in a timely manner.
- Monitor and track production of the Assigned accounts on a Monthly Basis.To distribute to DOS/DOSM
- Create a Holiday calendar for all European/GG/Russia/CIS Markets.
- Create a Loyalty program for the travel Trade accounts.
- Proactively prospects new accounts for the hotel and Kempinski properties worldwide and following the sales process through to convert into ‘producing’ accounts.
- In conjunction with the DOSM/DOS, develops the sales strategy for the hotel, plans and manages its implementation, and responsible for communication this strategy to the sales teams.
- Assist the DOSM/DOS in planning, development and implementation of promotional strategies and marketing plans
- Liaises with DOSM/DOS in the delivery of specific hotel marketing projects such as production of sales collateral and advertising campaigns for the Groups & Leisure segment.
- Responsible for key account management on an assigned account (base or geographic area), ensuring revenue maximization, achievement of personal targets and increasing fair market share versus competitor set.
- Conduct site inspections.
- Follow up of tentative bookings in the assigned markets.
- Attend trade shows, sales blitz, workshops, etc. in the assigned markets.
- Assist the Director of Sales / Director of Sales & Marketing in defining an annual sales action plan and execute set actions accordingly.
- Assist the Director of Sales / Director of Sales & Marketing with the preparation of the annual budget by providing statistics and forecasts of account productions.
- Manages the completion of all RFPs / FIT contracts solicitations ensuring they are completed accurately and in line with budgeted guidelines. Ensuring accurate follow up and communication both internally to reservations and accounting departments and confirmation to client.

Requirement:
UAE driving license is a must
Leisure sales experience in UAE
Languages:
Ability to work and communicate in a multinational environment. English is a must, Additional language is beneficial.
