As Bar Manager, you will be responsible for our exciting, multi-unit, shipboard Beverage Operation while overseeing its multicultural world-class team. You will be responsible for assisting the Bar Manager in the Operation of our state of the art ships (all bars/lounges, restaurants, venues, and crew dining areas). In addition, you will have the opportunity to travel the world while working for a top global employer of choice.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
•Responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of all ships' bars, lounges, service bars and bar storage areas
•Supervising, Coaching, Supporting and evaluating the performance of all direct reports
•Approval and oversight all bar requisitions, inventories, bar par levels, transfers, cocktail parties, time and locations, cost control, opening/closing bar hours, and working schedules
•Responsible for cost containment through the proper use, handling and maintenance of records, reports, supplies and equipment
•Improving and maintaining sales and profitability while addressing /reducing guest complaints
Requirements
•Minimum of five years beverage-related experience (shipboard experience preferred), or an equivalent combination of experience and education
•Completion of high school or basic education equivalency required
•Ability to speak, read, and write English clearly and distinctly
•All International applicants must have the ability to obtain a C1D Visa
•Applicants must be able to accommodate a 4 months on / 2 months off contract schedule
•Meet physical requirements including ability to participate in emergency life-saving drills and training
