We are currently seeking a full-time Training Manager for our small 5-star resort in the Seychelles. This position requires a person who is very passionate about training and is able to transfer this passion onto all participants & employees. Person will be responsible for training budget, development of trainings, evaluation and follow-up of all programs. Liaise with Head Office to ensure all trainings are conducted as required by local and group SOPs.
This position requires a candidate who can think outside-the-box, not only when it comes to developing training, but also when bringing topics across to staff from various cultures and educational backgrounds. Creativity, humor and a hands-on attitude are a must for this position. "Learning is fun" should be his/her motto.
Ideal candidate profile:
- Minimum of 4-5 years of INTERNATIONAL experience as Training Manager in 5-star resorts, preferably in Top Brands in Europe and/or North America
- Sound knowledge of Adult Learning Principles and how to apply them
- Outstanding facilitation skills
- Ability to communicate well across cultures
- Computer literate and expert in MS Office applications
- Hands'on person who doesn't mind to get information in the field
- Ability to produce results on time and accurately
- Island experience preferred
- Ability to communicate perfectly in English, French a plus
- MUST have a sense of humor and the ability to think outside-the-box.
