The Human Resources Manager is accountable for providing our internal guests with all services connected with their employment. He/ She will ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Human Resources function and the wellbeing of the hotel’s employees. Some of the key processes include but are not limited to:
Employee Relations
• Responsible for the correct management of Disciplinary and Grievance proceedings
• Support and Advice in Performance Management
• Management of Sickness and other absences
• Management of Maternity and Paternity
• Maintaining and Updating of Hotel Policies and Procedures
• Manage and overlook Hyatt’s Employee Engagement Survey
Employee Benefits
• Review Benefits annually and make recommendations to change where necessary
Payroll
• Together with the Payroll officer responsible for the monthly Hotel Payroll
• Complete monthly Reforecast and FTE reports
Training
• Overlook and develop training function
• Conduct relevant training sessions, including legal updates and policies
Communication
• Ensure up-to-date communication using various channels, such as Social Media and Notice boards
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have a positive and outgoing personality with excellent people and communication skills. Relevant work experience in the same role is desired. A good sense of organisation and the ability to set priorities are a must. A qualification such as CIPD would be beneficial.
