Job Purpose
This is a temporary position to cover Maternity Leave.
• To prepare and verify accurate cargo documentation, maintain accuracy of information and status of consignments.
• To update flight handling reports and to identify, monitor irregularities and discrepancies to achieve high service and quality standards.
• To input statistical and operational data into the database to release the flights on SkyChain System.
• To ensure timely, effective communication and information flows and to produce routine reports for flight shift to incorporate required service standards.
• Plan flights with joining Cargo loads to optimise both available Cargo space and revenue on the flights.
• Offer maximum customer service to all customers with regards to their enquiries within the shortest possible time to secure the business.
Qualifications & Experience
• Educated to high school level equivalent.
• Must possess a valid local driving licence.
• Minimum 2 years` experience with the Cargo Handling Agent or Airline in a similar capacity.
• Training on basic safety, cargo and ground handling courses would be advantageous.
• Knowledge of Internet and MS Office based applications.
• Fluent in written and verbal English.
• Must have the right to work and live in Australia. The company will not provide or assist with obtaining work permits.
