The Stay Experience Team is responsible for delivering all guest expectations on their stays in the hotel. Whether they are staying in the hotel accommodation, or with an event, or visiting to use an outlet, the team deliver the service and experience the guest requires, through the restaurants, bars, event spaces, dining in the bedrooms, and concierge desk. In addition, the Stay Experience Team will strive to exceed guests’ expectations and looks for ways to enhance the guest experience.
Within the Regency Club lounge guests can enjoy complimentary continental breakfast, all day tea, coffee and light snacks and evening cocktails and canapés.
The Team Leader – Regency Club Lounge is accountable for assisting management and supporting colleagues with aspects of the VIP and Club Lounge dining experience, focussing on guest and colleague satisfaction. Some of the key processes include but are not limited to:
• responsible to interacts with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the department
• accountable to work with other teams to maximise guest satisfaction
• responsible for controlling and analysing quality levels of product and service, guest satisfaction and sanitation, cleanliness, hygiene
• responsible to conduct briefings and maintaining liaison with the Head Chef and other Food and Beverage Department Heads
• accountable to assist in conducting the induction and orientation of new employees
• responsible to assist in developing formal training plans and carrying out on-the-job training sessions for employees
Qualifications
We are looking for a people focused, team player, curious and proactive Team Leader – The Montagu to work alongside our Guest Stay Experience Team. With your natural social skills, smart appearance and your passion to achieve the best, you will be part of a strong, fun and vibrant team.
Previous experience working in the same or similar role in a five star hotel environment is desired. Good knowledge of international food and wine would is essential. The ideal candidate will have great attention to detail and to communicate effectively. You will use your own initiative, taking ownership of matters arising and resolve unsupervised.
