Job Purpose
As Corporate Communications Specialist, you will deliver practical, cost-effective and innovative marketing communications solutions under the direction of the Corporate Communications Manager (CCM) within an integrated communications matrix structure (advertising, digital, PR, internal communications, events and sponsorships). You will support dnata and Group Services objectives by planning and organising the adaptation of commercial business plans into strategic communications briefs, optimizing the appropriate mix of communications tools, traffic and track communications activity and providing campaign analysis
Qualifications & Experience
Qualifications
- Degree or Honours (12+3 equivalent) preferable in an field related to Marketing.
- A post graduate qualification from a professional marketing institution (for example a diploma from the Chartered Institute of Marketing) would be a distinct advantage
- Project Management qualification is preferred.
Experience
- 5 years experience as a Marketing Communications professional with an international organisation or at account management level in an international Public Relations or advertising agency.
- Experience in the airline/travel industry is preferable.
- Experience of project management, developing marcom briefs, formulating and implementing annual budgets and activity plans, producing and implementing through the line international marcom campaigns.
Knowledge /Skills
- A thorough knowledge of the travel industry would be a distinct advantage, as would any specialised training courses in the airline/travel industry, marketing communications or sales promotion disciplines.
- The post holder must be able to articulate clearly and concisely in both the written and spoken form. Excellent (English language) communication skills are of paramount importance. The ability to think of creative solutions is important, as is the ability to keep motivated whilst working on several projects simultaneously and under tight deadlines.
- The role holder must be familiar with the elements that contribute to the production of quality advertising including the production of Press, radio and television commercials. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint is considered crucial.
