Eastway Brasserie and Bar offers a wide selection of sandwiches, grills, risottos, fish and pasta dishes, plus wine and fusion cocktail in a bustling atmosphere, all served with personality and fun. Eastway opens Monday to Sunday for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
 
The Restaurant Manager - Eastway is accountable for all aspects of the Eastway experience, focussing on guest and colleague satisfaction. Some of the key processes include but are not limited to:
To ensure that all employees in the outlet deliver the brand promise and provide exceptional guest service at all times.
To ensure that the monthly forecasted food and beverage revenues are achieved.
To constantly evaluate local, national and international market trends, vendors and other hotel/restaurant operations to make sure that the hotel’s own operations remain competitive and cutting edge.
To review and analyse the weekly/monthly Menu Sales Analysis in order to recommend changes to the menu mix and engineer the menu for greater profitability and customer satisfaction.
To establish the service standards for the outlet, overseeing the consistent implementation of the service standards and training the employees as necessary.
To develop an outstanding beverage selection that is competitive in the local marketplace
Responsible for the recruitment and selection of outlet employees.
To maximise the effectiveness of outlet employees by developing each of their skills and abilities through the appropriate training, coaching, and/or mentoring.
To implement effective training programmes for employees


Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a positive and outgoing personality with excellent people and communication skills. Relevant experience working in the same or similar role in a five star hotel environment is desired with good knowledge of large restaurant and bar operation. A good sense of organisation and the ability to set priorities are a must. You will have good knowledge of international wine and food, menu engineering and designing as well as a good working knowledge of culinary aspect of the restaurant.
