The Role

The company is working with a large, locally owned development and construction company who has been responsible for creating some of the citys most famous landmarks. Our client is looking to hire an Insurance Specialist to join the business.

In this role you will manage the risks associated with various ongoing projects including structural, marine, infrastructural and medical. You will be involved in the tendering, analysis, claims and settlement of insurance policies as well as manage the annual policies held by the business relating to properties, employees, motors, liability and infrastructure. 

You will tender to ensure you obtain the best possible comprehensive policy, acquiring all relevant information from the business units concerned in each part of the policy. You will also analyse various quotes, sending notes and opinions to management for approval. In addition, you will notify the business unit of claims related to that department, checking the relevant policy number and registering the claim.

Requirements

The successful candidate should have a bachelors Degree and a solid understanding of the relevant computer programs that are utilised in the insurance field. You should also be insurance qualified and policy literate. You should have a minimum of 5 years experience working in the general insurance field and be able to identify risks, understand policies and manage claims.
