Job Outline
- The role will be located in Al Khobar, KSA and will report to the Country Head – dnata KSA.
- Set up department strategies to achieve targets in terms of sales and revenue for retail, leisure and corporate travel.
- Handle and develop the business from corporate and potential retail clients maintaining dnata standards and customer loyalty.
- Evaluate and report sales performance to the Country Head, taking corrective actions if necessary to ensure actual sales in line with the projected sales.
- Network with principle airlines represented by the company and negotiate the best possible deals on both GSA and other preferential carriers to bring in maximum advantage for the company.
- Monitor the performance of all direct reporting sales executives by observing call reports, sales reports, operational techniques and effectiveness.
- Conduct weekly/monthly meetings with reporting staff to create an open line of communication.
- Responsible for the performance evaluation, mentoring, growth & development of location staff.
- Optimisation of productivity of staff allocated, manpower planning and support in the interview and hire process.
- Ensure that the branch and annexed retail outlets are always operational (Responsible for location certifications & compliance)
- Identify new customers with business potential.
- Negotiate and conclude business deals, ensuring the company’s interest is protected at all times with high revenue retention.
- Plan and formulate the sales and revenue budgets.
- Ensure cost effectiveness is achieved in all areas of the business through the efficient utilization and deployment of resources and through effective working practices and policies.
- Responsible for maintaining and developing business from new and existing corporate and retail customers.
- Maintain the dnata standards of customer service measured by the number of repeat buyers. Plan a program to maintain customer loyalty.
- Carry out any additional responsibilities assigned by management from time to time.
Qualifications & Experience
- University degree in business or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 8 years of sales experience of which at least 5 years in the travel industry (Retail, Leisure).
- A minimum of 4 years in a management position.
- Knowledge of fares and ticketing / reservation systems.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Arabic would be advantage.
