Our client is one of Saudi Arabias oldest and largest construction contractors. They are starting to build a mega project, which is a large residential development in a remote part of Saudi Arabia. They are currently looking for IT Manager

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage the development and implementation of an IT strategy that supports company goals
- Oversee the establishment and maintenance of necessary IT policies, processes and procedures
- Recommend appropriate IT solutions to meet the needs of the business
- Establish required IT systems and applications to serve other department needs in coordination with department Heads
- Oversee the development and implementation of IT security architecture and guidelines
- Manage overall networks and systems operation in the ERP System
- Ensure availability of quality support for the local network, hardware, and software applications and troubleshooting
- Ensure all external technical support when issues cannot be resolved in-house
- Continuously enhance the IT architecture to ensure optimum integration of different systems and meet business, risk, reporting and regulatory requirements
- Identify IT training needs and provide trainings as required
- Prepare budget for IT Department
- Oversee the daily operations of the IT networks and servers to ensure their proper functionality
- Plan and oversee periodic maintenance schedules of all IT infrastructure systems
- Help develop, maintain and monitor performance KPIs
- Coordinate all IT security issues including firewalls
- Manage administration of email servers for company-wide email and for management of email handling systems
- Oversee setup & maintenance of anti-spam and anti-virus systems and the setting of new anti-spam policies

Requirements

- Recognized university degree in Information Technology
- At least 10 years experiences in Information Technology, 5 years of the 10 years is an experience in same position with construction contractors, and another 5 years in managing Oracle ERP System in construction environment
- Fluent in MS Office 2013
- Excellent organizational skills
- Full knowledge of construction contractor IT applications and needs
