As a Front Office Receptionist, you will deliver friendly, efficient customer service and to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all of our guests, with the key aim of retaining and attracting new customers and your role will include key responsibilities such as:
* Deliver excellent customer service, at all times
* Deal with all enquiries in a professional and courteous manner, in person, on the telephone or via e-mail
* Administer all reservations, cancellations and no-shows, in line with hotel policy
* Keep up to date with current promotions and hotel pricing, to provide information to guests, on request, while maximizing bedroom sales opportunities
* Fulfill all reasonable requests from guests to ensure their comfort, satisfaction and safety
* Be responsible for evacuation, in cases of emergency, acting as first point of contact for guests and the emergency services
* Maintain personal knowledge by completing in-house training and workbooks
* Always adhere to all hotel policies and procedures and licensing laws
* Be involved and contribute at team meetings
* Carry out instructions given by the management
Requirements:
* Previous experience as a Front Office Receptionist in a 3* or 4* Hotel is a must
* Enthusiastic, courteous & helpful to colleagues & customers
* Good understanding of the hotel operation & the local competitors
* Recognizing & understanding differences & trends
* Adaptability & integrity
* Accept responsibility for own performance
