About Your Job:

In this role, you will be responsible for managing a highly complex Passenger Services Operation in London Heathrow International Airport. In conjunction with the Airport Services Manager, you will ensure the consistent delivery of Five Star customer service.

Specific accountabilities include:

  • Managing QR passenger handling staff and operation comprising of the following operational units: Check-in, transfer, arrival, departure gates, ticket desk, CIPs, VIPS and Qatar Royal Family
  • Conducting operations within budgeted costs, ensuring delivery of established service standards and in compliance with the QR safety and security parameters
  • Developing strong business relationships with various airport authorities including civil aviation, airport authority, airport police, airport immigration and customs
  • Regularly reviewing policies and procedures regarding passenger operations, personnel, safety and security matters pertaining to the units under jurisdiction
  • Overseeing and supervising employees with regards to direct daily activities, recruitment, training, development and disciplinary procedures to ensure a high standard of service delivery is maintained
  • In the absence of the ASM, representing QR in the AOC, promoting QR services and address areas of concern in order to safe guard the interests of the organisation

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need a relevant bachelors degree combined with a minimum of five years airline experience specifically within a Passenger Services supervisory capacity.

You will have a strong customer service ethos and be effective in communicating at all levels of staff.

You will also have the ability to effectively manage a team through delegation, setting of clear work directions and management of workflow.

Strong mentoring and coaching skills are a must.

English language fluency (written and oral) is essential.
