As a front of house team member, this role sits at the very heart of our Cafes as you are the first friendly face seen by our guests.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing outstanding customer service at all times by choosing/having the attitude to want to deliver a great experience so that our guests return time and time again
- Creating a fun atmosphere in the Kitchen as part of your team
- Ensuring you have a clear understanding of our menus and special offers in order to provide relevant information to our guests
- Ensuring the Café area is clean and appropriately presented
- Maintaining the smooth operation of relevant equipment ensuring any maintenance issues are reported in a timely fashion
- Operating the till as required throughout service, ensuring correct procedures are used
- Ensuring all Food Safety and Health & Safety regulations are adhered to and any incidents are reported in line with procedures
Experience required:
- Ability to communicate with both guests and other team members
- Proven drive and enthusiasm to deliver the best guest experience
- Confidence to deal with difficult situations whilst displaying patience and politeness within a sometimes much pressurised environment
- Great attention to detail and the ability to merchandise products effectively
- Conscientious and flexible working style
- Good team working and the ability to work with minimal supervision
