We Shared Service Center provides accounting support for over our 150 Hotels in North America and Latin America. Some of the accounting functions are: billing customer service, accounts receivable, accounts payable, sales and use tax, payroll, and treasury.
The purpose of this role is to complete both pre-arrival and post departure billing functions for events within the Hotel. The Analyst will be responsible for completing all processes accurately and efficiently. This role will support multiple hotels, depending on size and seasonality.
Essential Functions
- Monitor, review, and update accounting systems to ensure accurate event invoicing
- Import and upload reports from accounting systems to produce event invoices
- Complete credit application forms
- Post, code, and trace deposits in accounting system
- Correspond with hotel staff and customers via phone and/or email
- Meet daily, weekly and monthly deadlines as well as deadlines set per event
- Meet deadlines as set per event
- Identify, recommend and support billing solutions that improve business processes and reporting efficiencies
- Work well with others at multiple levels within the organization
- Maintain confidentially when handling propriety information
- Reprioritize workload and address urgent demands quickly
- Escalate issues that may negatively impact the customer’s experience, as appropriate
- Exceptional attention to detail.

Qualifications
- 1-3 years customer service experience in one of the following industries
- Hospitality
- Accounting
- Business to Business Sales
- Commercial Oil and Gas
- 6 months working experience with the following:
- Accounting or Property Management System
- Microsoft Office Suite, including Access
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with the following software a plus:
- Oracle
- Opera
- SAP
- Microsoft Outlook
- Ability to multitask between PC and web-based programs
- Ability to communicate easily with both internal and external customers
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills
- Accurate and efficient data entry skills
