The main responsibilities of a Data Doctors Data Recovery Technician are to recover data from storage media that is both physically and logically failing, communicate with the customers throughout the entire recovery process, and stay on top of new recovery methods as they become available. Our engineers are excellent communicators with their clients throughout the entire recovery process and work to be their heroes.

There will be opportunities to learn new things every day. This fast-paced industry never has a boring day as long as you are open to new challenges and opportunities. This position requires a strong ability to complete technical tasks and communicate them effectively to customers. Qualifications

Our Data Recovery Technicians must meet the following prerequisite qualifications:

• A minimum of a high school diploma. A college degree or technical certifications may substitute.
• Demonstrated ongoing technical education. Some online resources acceptable.
• Must be able to pass background check, drug test, and have a clean driving record.
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Previous professional data recovery experience – No first timers!
• Experience with soldering and computer hardware repair (server/laptop/desktop)
• Experience with software troubleshooting including Windows and Mac OS.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and can show empathy for customer’s situations. Some have very emotional and difficult reasons for using us. We must be there for them!

The full-time Data Recovery Technician at Data Doctors in Mesa, AZ is a full time hourly position to include paid days off including paid holidays, purchase benefits, medical/dental benefits, and 401K contributions. During this time, we are providing the necessary measures to help protect against COVID 19. Face to face with customers in this position is rare.
