Responsibilities:
- Work with the senior leadership, sales, product, and technology teams to establish an annual strategy plan with specific tactical deliverables and measurable objectives designed to meet the sales and growth goals of the company
- Create, build and execute targeted, prioritized marketing programs that support the company’s business and sales objectives
- Generate and coordinate multiple marketing campaigns simultaneously using mass marketing tools, including but not limited to; Salesforce, iContact, and Google Ad Words
- Create detailed analytical reports quantifying the effectiveness of various campaigns and be able to make suggestions for methods of improvement
- Oversee and maintain owned media assets (e.g. corporate blog and website, email strategy, white papers, collateral, newsletter, etc.)
- Generate a regular drumbeat of compelling content, develop pitches, and secure interest in earned media opportunities
- Create and consistently update a modular set of sales presentations on Company solutions, benefits and features
- Manage and coordinate all company events and related communications (conferences, tradeshows, brand events, case studies)
- Travel to organize and to ensure success at industry events and of our own SphereCon
- Manage both internal and external marketing resources, teams and contractors
- Implement a metrics- and KPI-driven approach to all marketing programs
Qualifications
- A minimum of 6 years of marketing experience within the digital marketing technology industry, including at least 2 years of experience in a strategic marketing role
- Demonstrated ability to develop marketing content and messaging (development of value propositions, brand awareness, blogs and podcasts), trade show support
- Experience in traffic and lead generation (PPC and CPM advertising, inbound marketing, SEO and SEM, etc.)
- Proven ability to develop Promotional Strategy, MARCOM (Press, Trade magazine articles, etc.), website (testimonials, whitepapers, webinars, ebooks, content and delivery, etc.), social media, etc.
- Deep familiarity with marketing automation, analytics and CRM tools (i.e Hubspot, Google Analytics, InfusionSoft, Salesforce.com)
- You are familiar and comfortable with the latest sales online marketing tools including Salesforce, HubSpot, MailChimp, Google Analytics, Adwords, LinkedIn, etc.
- Proven track record in developing highly effective sales presentations and collateral
- Desire to work in a fast-paced business environment under limited direction and supervision
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and organizational skills--should be able to communicate an informed opinion with confidence
- Bachelor's degree required, MBA preferred
- Excellent strategic business and technical acumen​
