Ruby on Rails Developers – Analyzing user requirements and defining functional specifications. Designing applications using Ruby-on-Rails technologies. Developing the GUI, MVC and Entity framework. Creating reusable modules and components using JavaScript, Python, Ruby-on-Rails and PHP. Developing UML class diagrams and sequence diagrams. Enhancing the front-end of the application using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Ajax and jQuery. Creating and consuming Web Services, SOAP and RESTful, and Web APIs. Developing and implementing test validations of the applications. Analyzing test results and recommending modifications to the applications to meet project specifications. Integrating the applications with different systems using APIs. Deploying the applications into existing systems using Maven and Jenkins. Maintaining version control using Git. Documenting modifications and enhancements made to the applications and systems as required by the project.

Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Mathematics or Engineering and two years’ experience in position or two years’ experience in IT field.

Special requirements: Experience with Python, Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, WebServices and Web API. Travel to various unanticipated client sites required. May reside anywhere in United States.
